Job Overview
As the Hotel Manager at Boardwalk Suites, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience, operational efficiency, and profitability. You will lead and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, manage budgets, and maintain the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Implement and maintain effective operational processes and workflows.
- Guest Experience:
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on guest reviews and feedback.
- Maintain a visible presence with guests and staff to ensure a high level of service and engagement.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the hotel budget, including revenue and expense control.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain accurate employee records.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and local businesses.
- Oversee the hotel's online presence and reputation management.
- Maintenance and Safety:
- Ensure the hotel is well-maintained and that all facilities are in good working order.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
- Oversee property improvements and renovations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of hotel management software and systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
